The fruit market in "koyambedu" chennai....amazing place to do portraits :)....the best thing about this picture is the genuine smile...he was really amazed was to why would some body would want to take HIS photograph...."munji nalla illa sir, inna photo edukaringa" what that means is my face is not good why are you taking a pic of mine...he was incredibly spirited...the whole koyambedu complex is some sort of an enigma...there are narrow streets of every fruit in this world...small alleys where fruits are stuffed and sold...every shopkeeper's apple is better than the others...and i love the canopies they put up for the summer heat in Chennai....the amount of trash that comes out is phenomenal...the smell of decayed fruit and fresh ones fill the air...its really amazing....in this particular snap the whole of the small alley was looking at me...and when i showed him the pic from my digi cam...he just hopped in surprise...it was an awesome experience...cant forget the ambiance of the market...the smell still remains in the head...a bit unpleasant and pungent smell at that :) !!!!!

True very true is it not, when you stand up there "the stage of life" every things blinds out...vision is hindered....fear grips you, i fail to see light...all you see is the looming doom "in this case the mike"...after all stage fear is no different from life fear (or is it not?)...so many people to face...so many people to please...applause and booing...highs and lows...all the same...ecstasy joy sorrow and sadness....life is a stage yes it is....i wanted to capture this entire emotion in this picture and i consider myself only partially successful....definitely life is a stage..shakespeare is right :)

If there is some that is incredibly serene then its definitely sunset ans the sea.
i think its some sort of a romantic relationship between the two
what one emits the other reflects...and this courtship creates awesome beauty

as a first entry in my photo blog this picture deserves bit of, if i might choose grandoise explanation. The subject was meera a vivacious 8 year old...the fact is that when any one sees this picture there is nothing but a very natural smile on their face...her eyes are pure joy....people just open up to a honest innocent smile...and ofcourse thanks to meers...she brought smiles to a lot of people...thank you meera :)
